Terms and conditions.
Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this agreement is to protect customer rights and interests by stipulating the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between "monastic" and customers in using the Internet-related service (hereinafter referred to as "site") on the website "monastic" run by the Francis School Volunteer Monastery. Article 2 (Definition) 1. "Site" refers to a virtual business site that provides information and services to users and allows them to trade goods or services using information and communication facilities and information and communication networks such as "metropolitan city" computers. 2. "User" refers to members and non-members who access the "site" and receive services provided by the "site" under these terms and conditions. 3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the "site" and who can continuously use the information and services provided by the "site". 4. "Non-member" refers to a person who does not sign up as a member and uses the information and services provided by the "site". 5. "Subscription" refers to the act of filling out the relevant information on the application form provided by the "site" and completing the service use contract by agreeing to these terms and conditions. 6. "Member ID" refers to a combination of letters and numbers that members apply for and approve for member identification and member service use. 7. "Password" refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the user himself to ensure that the user matches his or her member ID and to protect his or her confidentiality on communication. 8. "Departure" refers to the act of terminating the contract of use by a member. 9. Terms not defined in these terms and conditions are defined in separate terms and conditions and usage regulations for individual services. Article 3 (Specification and amendment of the terms and conditions) 1. The "monastic church" posts the contents, name, and contact information (e-mail address, phone number, fax number, etc.) of these terms and conditions on the initial "service" screen (front) of the "site" so that users can know. 2. The "monetary society" may amend these terms and conditions to the extent that it does not violate related laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization, the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, and the Consumer Protection. 3. If the terms and conditions are revised, the reason for the revision and the date of application will be specified and announced on the initial screen of the "site" along with the current terms and conditions from 7 days before the application date to the day before the application date. 4. The revised terms and conditions also apply to contracts concluded before the application date. However, the terms and conditions before the revision will apply to users who have explicitly notified the "site" of their intention to refuse to apply the revised terms and conditions. 5. Matters not specified in these terms and conditions and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the Electronic Transaction Consumer Protection Guidelines and relevant laws or customs. Article 4 (Providing and Changing Services) 1. Business matters of the "monastic church" - Provision of information on goods or services and conclusion of a purchase contract. - Delivery of goods or services to which a purchase contract has been signed. - Other duties determined by the "monastic church". 2. In the event of a sale of goods or a change in technical specifications, the "monastic society" may change the contents of goods or services to be provided by a contract concluded in the future. In this case, the contents of the changed goods and services and the date of provision will be announced from the 7th before the date of provision to the place where the current goods and services are posted. 3. If the contents of the service that has signed a contract with the user to be provided by the "monastic church" are changed due to reasons such as sold out of goods or changes in technical specifications, the "monastic church" compensates the user for damages caused by this. However, this is not the case if there is no intention or negligence in the "monastic church". Article 5 (Suspension of Service) 1. The "monasticity" may temporarily suspend the provision of services to the "site" in the event of inspection, repair, or replacement of information and communication facilities such as computers. 2. The "monastic society" compensates the user or a third party for damages caused by the temporary suspension of the provision of services due to the reasons under paragraph (1). However, this is not the case if there is no intentional or gross negligence in the "monastic society". Article 6 (Membership) 1. Users apply for membership by filling out their membership information according to the subscription form specified on the "site" and expressing their intention to agree to these terms and conditions. 2. The "monastic society" shall be registered as a member of any of the following users who have applied to join as a member as in paragraph 1. - If there is a false entry, omission, or error in the registration, - In a case where it is determined that registering as another member significantly hinders the technology of the "site", 3. The time when the membership contract is established is when the consent of the "monastic society" reaches the member. 4. "Monastic Society" provides free membership ID when signing up for a new member, and applicants for service use must apply for use. 5. If there is a change in the registration listed in Article 15 (1), a member shall immediately notify the "monastic society" of the change by e-mail or other equivalent means. Article 7 (withdrawal of membership, loss of qualification, etc.) 1. Members can apply for withdrawal from the "site" at any time, and in this case, the "monastic society" will immediately process withdrawal from the membership. 2. If a member falls under any of the following subparagraphs, the "monasticity" may restrict or suspend the use of the service. - In the case of false information when applying for subscription, - In the case of default on the payment of goods, services, etc., purchased using the "site", or other debts borne by the member. - In the case of infringing/threatening the electronic transaction order, such as interfering with the use of another person's "site" or stealing another person's personal information, etc. - In the case where an act prohibited by these terms and conditions, or an act contrary to laws and regulations, public order, etc., is performed using the "site", - In the case of an application for the purpose of hindering the well-being of society or good manners, - In the case where an application is made by stealing the name of another person, 3. When the "monastic church" intends to restrict/stop the use of the service, it shall notify the relevant user in advance by e-mail, phone, or written form. However, if urgent, you can notify after taking action. 4. After the "monastic church" restricts or suspends the use of the service, the "monastic church" may be disqualified from membership if the reason for the sanction is repeated more than twice or if the reason is not corrected within 30 days. 5. If the "monastic society" deprives the membership of membership, the membership registration is canceled, and in this case, the membership is notified before the cancellation. 6. The "monastic church" shall not be liable for damages caused by restrictions/suspension of service use or deprivation of membership. Article 8 (Notification to Members) 1. If the "monastic church" notifies a member, it may be the e-mail address submitted by the member. 2. If the "monasticity" notifies an unspecified number of members, it may be notified on the "site" for at least a week to replace individual notifications. Article 9 (Application for Purchase) Users can apply for purchase on the "site" by the following method. 1. Enter your name (ID), address, phone number, and e-mail. 2. Choice of goods or services. 3. Choose a payment method. 4. Choose consent to use personal information. Article 10 (The establishment of a contract) 1. The "monastic society" agrees to the purchase application as prescribed in Article 9 unless it falls under any of the following subparagraphs. - If there's a falsehood, omission, or error in the application, - In a case where it is determined that the consent to the purchase application is significantly hindered in business or technology. 2. It is deemed that the contract was established at the time when the consent of the "monastic church" reached the user in the form of notification of receipt confirmation under Article 12 (1). Article 11 (Payment Method) Payment for goods/services purchased on the "site" can be made in the following way. 1. Credit card payment. 2. Deposit without a bankbook online. 3. Virtual account payment. 4. Phone card payment. Article 12 (Notification of receipt confirmation/Change and cancellation of purchase application) 1. "The monastery" notifies the user of the receipt confirmation if there is a user's purchase application. 2. If there is a disagreement in the expression of intention, the user who has received the notification of receipt confirmation may immediately request the change or cancellation of the purchase application after receiving the notification of receipt confirmation. 3. If there is a request for change or cancellation of the user's purchase application before delivery, the "monitor" shall be processed according to the request. Article 13 (Delivery). 1. The "monastic church" will deliver the product through courier and mail registration within 3 days (Seoul/Gyeonggi region) and 5 days (other regions) from the deposit date. 2. A separate delivery fee will be charged for the island area. 3. However, it will not be delivered on holidays or other holidays. 4. If force majeure causes such as natural disasters occur, they will be excluded from the delivery period during that period. Article 14 (Cancellation, Return, and Exchange) 1. If the user is unable to deliver or provide goods or services due to reasons such as out of stock, the "monitor" shall notify the user of the reason without delay, and if the price of goods or services is received in advance, within 7 days from the date of receipt. 2. In any of the following cases, "the monastery" shall immediately refund, return, and exchange the goods within the next business day after receiving the goods even if they have been delivered. However, the deadline for the request is within 7 days from the delivery date. - If the product is damaged at the time of delivery to the customer, - If the product is different from the one you ordered, - If the period specified in the terms and conditions is exceeded, - In the case of a member's change of purchase intention, 3. All expenses required for return shall be borne by the monastery, but in the case of cancellation of purchase due to the member's simple change of mind, the member shall bear the round-trip shipping fee. 4. The return of the product is for all the contents provided. (Return of individual products is not allowed.) Article 15 (Personal Information Protection) 1. When collecting information on users, the "monastic society" strictly restricts the collection of sensitive personal information that may violate basic human rights such as "race and ethnicity," "origin and hometown," and collects the minimum information necessary for the implementation of purchase contracts, and other options. - Name. - Address. - Phone number. - ID. (For members) - Password. 2. When the "monastic church" collects personal information that can be personally identified by the user, the user's consent must be obtained. However, this is not the case if it falls under any of the following subparagraphs. - If there are special provisions in the law, - Where necessary for the performance of a service use contract. - If necessary for the settlement of charges according to the provision of services, 3. The personal information provided shall not be used beyond the scope of purpose or provided to a third party without the consent of the relevant user, and the "monastic society" shall be responsible for any damages resulting therefrom. However, this is not the case if it falls under any of the following subparagraphs. - If there are special provisions in the law, - If necessary for the settlement of charges according to the provision of services, - In the case of informing the delivery company of the minimum user's information (name, address, phone number) necessary for delivery. - Where it is necessary for statistics preparation, academic research, or market research, and is provided in a form that cannot identify a specific individual. 4. If the "monetary society" requires the user's consent pursuant to paragraphs (2) and (3), the user may withdraw consent in advance to matters related to the use of information, such as the identity (position, name, phone number, etc.), purpose of information collection and use, and third party. 5. Users can at any time request access and error correction of their personal information held by the "monastic church." In response, the "monastic church" is obligated to take necessary measures without delay, and if the user requests correction of the error, the "monastic church" will not use the personal information until the error is corrected. 6. "The monastery" is responsible for damages to users due to leakage, loss, theft, and modulation of users' personal information, including credit cards and bank account-related information. However, this is not the case in the case of leakage of personal information due to the user's intention or negligence. 7. When the purpose of collecting personal information provided by the user is achieved, the "monitor" shall destroy the personal information without delay. Article 16 (Duties of the "monastic church") 1. The "monastic society" shall not engage in acts prohibited by laws and conditions or contrary to public order and morals, and shall endeavor to provide continuous and stable services and supply goods/services as prescribed by these terms and conditions. 2. "The monastery" will have a security system to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can safely use the service. 3. The "monastic society" is responsible for compensating users for damages caused by unfair labeling/advertising activities prescribed in Article 3 of the Fair Labeling/Advertising Act on goods or services. 4. "The monastery" does not send advertising e-mails for profit that users do not want. Article 17 (Duties to the member's ID and password) 1. Except for the case of Article 15, the member is responsible for managing the ID and password. 2. Members should not allow third parties to use their IDs and passwords. 3. If a member is stolen of his/her ID and password or recognizes that a third party is using it, he/she must immediately notify the "monitor" and follow the guidance. Article 18 (User's Duty) Users must comply with these terms and conditions and related laws and regulations, and must not do the following: - Registration of false information upon application or change. - Change of information posted on "site". - Transmission or posting of information (computer programs, etc.) other than information determined by the "monastic church" - Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of "monastic church" and other third parties. - Any act that damages the reputation of a "monastic church" or other third party or interferes with business. - The act of disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages/voices or other information contrary to public order and morals on a shopping mall. Article 19 (Limitation of the attribution and use of copyrights) 1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works written by the "monastic church" belong to the "monastic church". 2. Users shall not use information obtained by using the "monastic church" for profit or allow third parties to use it by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other means without prior consent from the "monastic church". Article 20 (Dispute Resolution) 1. The "monastic society" establishes/operates a customer center to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to compensate for the damage. 2. The "monastic church" handles complaints and opinions filed by users quickly/appropriately. However, if it is difficult to process quickly, we will notify the user of the reason and processing schedule without delay. 3. In the event of a dispute between the "monetary society" and the user, it may be subject to mediation by the Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee established pursuant to Article 28 of the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions and Article 15 of the Enforcement Decree. 4. The final judgment regarding the interpretation, performance, and termination of these terms and conditions shall be made by the competent court of the monastery. Article 21 (Court of competent jurisdiction and applicable law) 1. A lawsuit regarding an electronic transaction dispute between the "monastic church" and the user is filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act. 2. Korean law applies to electronic transaction lawsuits filed between "monasticity" and users. Article 1 of the Addendum (Effect of Terms and Conditions) These terms and conditions will take effect on February 22, 2021, and will also apply to members who signed up before these terms and conditions were enacted.
